Rhonda Buford, Ph.D, BCBA-D, Executive Director

 

Dr. Buford has provided direct services and training to children, adults, teachers and parents for over 20 years. Prior to starting Behavior Consulting Services, she was a professor at Clemson University and University of Houston, Clear Lake. She has also worked with children and adults with autism and other disabilities in school and residential settings. She has extensive consultation experience that includes systems change in schools programs, for individual cases requiring intensive intervention and for situations regarding litigation and potential litigation.

 

 

Clinical Leadership

 

Aaron Check

 

Aaron provides ABA services to children and adolescents with autism in the Columbia area. He manages and supervises programs and ensures fidelity of implementation and other programs. He is currently pursuing board certification in behavior analysis.

 

 

Jinni Friend

 

Jinni provides direct service and supervision of programs for children with autism in the Columbia area. She has served in leadership positions in schools for services for children with autism. She is a certified special education teacher and will sit for the exam for board certification in behavior analysis in the near future.

 

 

Tiffany Raneri

 

Tiffany provides direct service and supervision of programs for children with autism in the Upstate Area.  She is a certified special education teacher and is currently pursuing board certification in behavior analysis.

 

 

Brianna Smith

 

Brianna provides direct service and supervision of programs for children with autism. She has a degree in psychology and plans to pursue behavior analysis certification in the near future.

 

 

Donna Cooper

 

Donna provides direct services and supervision of programs for children with autism in the Upstate Area. She taught children with autism in England in inclusive settings.

 

 

 

Line therapists

 

Behavior Consulting Services employs line therapists from education, healthcare, and other human service backgrounds. Line therapists undergo training in the characteristics of autism and the techniques of applied behavior analysis and are supervised in the provision of programs.

 

 

Administrative

 

Kate Callahan is the office manager and processes all billing. She is responsible for insuring that matters related to the management of Behavior Consulting Services are handled in an efficient manner.
